
Creative Trails - Space, Face & Place
We are opening our Inner West Studio for a weekend of art, creativity, and inclusivity as part of the Inner West Council's Creative Trails. Visit our Space, Face & Place exhibition, engage in workshops, artist talks and experiences led by artists with disability.

Time: 10am - 5pm each day

Space, Face & Place Exhibition - Saturday and Sunday
An in studio exhibition that highlights the talent and skills of artists with disability in the Inner West.
Still Life Art Workshop - Saturday and Sunday
We invite you to participate in a quintessential Inner West art activity – creating a still life artwork inspired by local industries. Many of our members enjoy the creative process of drawing, creating and being inspired by place and space.
Puppetry Workshop - Saturday and Sunday
Make, create and participate in a puppetry workshop for all ages! Create a character, build your puppet, then give an impromptu performance with your friends and family.
Weaving Artist Talk and Demonstration by Georgina Evans - Saturday, 11.30am
Georgina Evans is a weaving extraordinaire. Georgina will be giving an artist talk and weaving demonstration.
Portraits by Lex Tan - Saturday and Sunday from 1pm*
Lex Tan is a fabulous and prolific artist. Lex loves to draw fashionable portraits inspired by his friends and popular culture of the 70’s, 80’s & 90’s. This is your chance to have you very own custom made portraits by Lex!

Creative Sound Performance by Crystal Adams - Sunday, 11.30am and 1pm
Crystal attends Studio ARTES Hornsby. She is a multi-discipline artist. This year Crystal participated in the Sydney Biennale, creating an experimental sound scape with her fellow peers from the Experimental Sound class in Hornsby.
Market Stall - Saturday and Sunday
Browse and purchase creative goods made by local artists with disability.
Collaborative Weaving - Saturday and Sunday
Contribute to our weaving by having a turn on one of our Studio ARTES looms. Together we will create a community piece reflecting our space, place and face!
