Visual Arts

Our Visual Arts program puts you and your creativity at the centre of the art-making process.

At Studio ARTES, our visual arts programs support members to explore a variety of art making techniques and mediums while expressing creativity. Projects are driven and guided by individual interests, with trained visual arts facilitators on hand to lend advice and help develop independent or collaborative projects. You might enjoy exploring watercolours through florals, weaving found objects into textiles, or creating a dinosaur from clay – there are endless opportunities to create, imagine and make!

There are a variety of mediums available to work with, including:

Artists from our Visual Arts program have regular opportunities to be involved in exhibitions and events. In addition to regular in-house, local, and digital exhibitions hosted by Studio ARTES, we offer support in taking up exciting collaborative opportunities to create and exhibit worldwide.

Extension opportunities are available for those who are driven to grow their art practice.

Visual Arts programs are available across our Hornsby and Inner West Studios, as well as through our Studio Online programs.
